How’d it go?
Moments after the Arizona Cardinals laid the slap-down on the Philedelphia Eagles, Tyler was laying down some tunes on a new little local Arizona radio show called AZ Music Cafe.
Don’t tell me Arizona isn’t doing it right. Today the Rock and Roll Marathon circled the valley, The Cardinals clinched a Super Bowl slot out in Glendale, and some of Arizona’s finest singer/songwriters crowded into the AZ Music Cafe’s studio to broadcast some songs and banter. There certainly isn’t any lack of good quality entertainment around these parts. - Tyler Christensen

About the Show
Erich Sielaff sponsors and hosts “AZ Music Café” every Sunday at 3pm on KKNT 960 AM. AZ Music Cafe is about Erich’s love of music. This program gives him the opportunity to showcase the songwriting and performing skills of local musicians. He hopes to give them a place to expose their talent and promote themselves without cost.
Tyler played ”The Things I’m Gonna Miss” and “One World” on-air and spoke briefly about SuperNormal Records, and his progress of building a record label from the roots on up.
I have to thank Erich and his crew, and all of the other musicians in the lineup today. What a great show. It is few and far-between you get a local oriented show like AZ Music Cafe. Arizona has a “satellite scene” there are great artists and shows to see, but, they are spread out all over the Valley of the Sun and it can be tough to seek out quality performers and songwriters. AZ Music Cafe is a great way to get a broadbrush look at a number of artists and then puruse the weekly’s to see when their playing around town. They also have a nifty calendar gizmo on their site that previous guest post their shows on. Best of luck to the show and Erich, it’s host, for continued success. Thanks for the good times. – Tyler Christensen
