Portland A Go-Go

We are taking this show on the road. May 11th – 18th Supernormal Tyler and crew will be doing a “Public Transit Tour” of one of the world’s greatest cities, Portland Oregon.
An exercise in sustainable living and rocking and rolling, this trip will be documented in true Supernormal Records fashion. Check back for show dates, public appearances, and reports on the life their livin’ in good ole “Rose City”. Weve got a suitcase full of Hi-8 tapes, and some change for the Tri-Met. We hope you enjoy the show. Details to follow.

You will like Portland–Hope all is a success and you have a good time.
The surrounding area, including the Columbia River, is beautiful.
Well, this will be a journey to the very heart of the thing. Much like my time in Prague, I’ll disappear into the cranny’s of the city and pop my head up to perform like one of those bash the Beaver games, ‘here he is no here he is!’ ‘Who is he?’ It’s been a long time coming, and, I’m excited to get back “on the road” and play for people who have never seen me. The good thing is my crew member “pope” will be with me and shares my philosophy of minimalist travel. It’s not ‘Portland on a shoestring’, it’s Portland out of a backpack, one pair of jeans and five t-shirts. I’ve got a good ally in this deal and were gonna produce the hell out of this thing. Travel-channel type tip videos, hotspot highlights, video of live performances, street buskering, hostelling in America, the list as as long as life itself. I can’t tell you how excited I (we) am (are). It was “pope’s birthday on the 27th of March (yesterday) and two tickets to paradise was my gift to her. Her presence is her gift to me. Keep your eyes on this here dot.com.
Good luck dude hope it is a good trip to the northwest. Be careful in the northwest though I hear the people are ruthlessly nice, so watch out, might throw you out of the element and make you think they are being sarcastic or cynical.
I took the Oregon Trail in 4th grade and recently on facebook, it was rough.
Wish you would have let me know about pope’s BD on 3/27 so we could acknowledge her BD–! I’m so happy that you’ve found her to share your experiences with. Let her know that she has a belated gift waiting for her here. I feel better knowing that she is going there with you. Don’t you think you should take another pair of pants? (or at least a roll of duct tape?)–but then, pope may have a (stretchy) pair that you can borrow while your’s are in the laundry–and it’s only one week so one pair may be enough after all. I love reading your posts, please keep it current for the rest of us who you are leaving behind in AZ
