One World
Tentatively I am scheduled to perform in late March or early April for a 1480 KPHX event. Being that this will be a politcally themed event, I figured I’d get in the lab and crank out some tunes. Here is the latest effort, a song called ”One World”. Hear it here.

One World©2008 Tyler Christensen, all rights reserved.VERSE: (E, Am, A, B) PRE-CHORUS: (E, A,B) CHORUS: (E, Bm7, A7,Bm7)
I heard you speaking softly,
about what you believe in.
all right you caught me,
I was listening
As you recite,
that tired party line
freedom isn’t free
It’s a popularly
propagated lie
there’s a premium on peace
You can be a patriot
not be a nationalist
you me yeah we can believe…in one world
My child is the same as yoursmay neither of them ever be veterans of foreign wars
let’s lead them to the light
the poor have no place inside
a rich man’s war
You say I must be dreaming
that’s all just fine in theory
we will never have world peace
only a common enemy
My child is the same as yoursmay neither of them ever be veterans of foreign wars
let’s lead them to the light
the poor have no place inside
a rich man’s war
Freedom is free
it always has been and always will be
I won’t pay for it
you can’t make me
I am a patriot
not a nationalist
I believe in one world

Your expression on the photo says it all–it’s alot of hard work!
I’m looking forward to reading more of your lyrics.
